Espresso Maker and Accessories Recommendations
One of the keys to the success of making the perfect espresso shot and espresso-based drinks in your home is the equipment you are using. Here is my recommendation for an espresso coffee machine for the home, as well as a recommendation for a quality conical burr grinder, the all-important sidekick to your espresso maker.

For the more serious home-based coffee snob, I personally use and recommend the Breville BES900XL Dual Boiler Semi Automatic Espresso Machine
If you are not yet ready to "go all the way," below are links to recommendations for an espresso maker and grinder that I used prior to buying my current Breville equipment. These are excellent machines too, and I enjoyed many years of trouble-free brewing of great espresso with them. In fact, they are what I was using when I first started and wrote most of the content of this site.
